I think around the 'Back in the USA' recording era. I have often tried finding information on the web and just stumbled over this article. you can reach me at rob-uk(at)live.co.uk. thanksAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14933214151848528658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5485358786145521226.post-53438920449948591972013-09-13T06:32:09.890-07:002013-09-13T06:32:09.890-07:00Hi

When I saw that there was a band called Brian Howard & his Silhouettes, I HAD to book them!!! I booked them into Epsom Baths Hall on Saturday 16th November (I still have the poster!!) on a triple bill with The Lorne Gibson Trio and The Pat McQueen Combo. Clearly various people were "Brian Howard" from time to time without anyone of them actually being Brian Howard, so I would be most interested to hear, if anyone knows, why the name was chosen?? I've lived with the name, reasonably comfortably, for 67 years but have never felt it remotely "cool" ! Regards, Brian Howardbrianhoward@haslemere.comnoreply@blogger.com
